Friday 17th April - walks ***** – Felixstowe and Levington circuits – cloudy.

Walk 1 – Around Felixstowe.
I actually headed out at 5.15 to catch the sunrise and for the first time ever I failed to take a pic it was that uninspiring :(
As its Friday, Maeva day we decided to walk round to pick her up for a change and it was still fairly sunny. She was pleased to see us as were the cats, we took her on her trike buggy over to the nearby park for a go on the swings before continuing to the town to buy some corned beef, veggie sausages and scotch eggs and a bag of mini chocolate donuts for today’s picnic! While I packed lunch Mag made a den and read loads of books before we headed out in the van.
Walk 2 Levington to Loompit including a picnic at the marina.
The sun had disappeared as we headed to Levington Marina parking to the left for Maeva’s favourite picnic in the van watching several yachts out on the River Orwell. We love our time in the van with Maeva, such fun before we set off on a walk round to Loompit lake watching the swans bums and a couple of fly fisherman ending up on the lovely beach for seflie time and had fun making footprints in the wet sand before returning to the van seeing the first clutch of young ducks. Maeva was asleep before we had left the marina and we had to job to wake her up!
We took Maeva home fairly late, I then headed down to Felixstowe Ferry in my slippers to catch the sunset and was not disappointed, it was a cracker! Top day:)
